The 71st Conference and Symposium of Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayag, which was inaugurated by Brig. Dr. B. D. Mishra, Hon’ble Governor, Arunachal Pradesh on March 10, 2019, concluded on Tuesday at the RGU campus.
At the valedictory function Vice-Chancellor of the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Prof. Saket Kushwaha who attended as Chief Guest expressed hearty thanks to the Sammelan for giving RGU the honour of hosting the prestigious conference. He congratulated the participants of the mega event and the award recipients in various categories. Prof. Kushwaha said, “Arunachalee Hindi has its own character with a very beautiful way of expression” and suggested the Sammelan document and keep the record of year-wise award recipients. He also advised the organization for the documentation of the papers and articles presented during the symposium and called for maintaining a vibrant website so that the activities of Sammelan can be easily explored and accessed by scholars. He suggested preparing a working team consisting of members from all over the country to work for the growth and development of the organization. “Translation work must be carried out to popularize the local writings and an MOU can also be signed with the RGU for the exchange of research works and for taking up many research projects”, he said.
