Department of Physical Education, Rajiv Gandhi University under its Outreach Programme conducted a 3 days “Nature Camp” for the children of 5 years to 15 years of age in the outskirts of the university.

Department of Physical Education, Rajiv Gandhi University under its Outreach Programme conducted a 3 days “Nature Camp” for the children of 5 years to 15 years of age in the outskirts of the university.

3 Days “Nature Camp” for the Children conducted by Department of Physical Education

The camp was helpful for young children as they involved themselves and learned new things in absence of their parents, worked on creative activities, learned about the nature and environment.

A total of 29 children attended the camp, out which 12 were girls and 17 boys and the youngest being 5 years of age from the adjoining areas of Doimukh as well as Itanagar participated in the camp.

The main motto of the camp was transaction of knowledge for overall growth & development of personality of the children, healthy living and social responsibility within a fun camp environment.

The children also took part in nature hiking from the University campus to Dikrong river while learning about the flora and fauna on the way.
